HS:MS - SOS

Horray, yesterday afternoon was lovely - both the weather and the fun day, i had to take this photo to remind myself that the sun does shine occasionally, unfortunately it was the only photo i took (i was to busy chasing the kids and dare i say it - chatting!).
Does anyone remember 'Its a knockout' ? well we had such a laugh watching slightly drunk adults (Army blokes!) taking part in fancy dress and the man with the mike was just like Stuart Hall - he couldnt stop laughing.
As for today, the sun is out already and i cant really be bothered to do much but it seems a shame to waste it, guess i will see what unfolds when my lucky hubby finally gets out of bed!

Things have been rather hectic here and i am trying to get back into the swing of daily routine and finding it harder than normal as i am working nights mid-week.
A is loving being at pre-school, and Lil'H' is going 3 mornings a week - but instead of enjoying my freedom im coming in from work and sleeping....lol - thank god its agency work!
We are off to the yearly Army fun day, here on camp today, where there are lots of activities such as - childrens entertainer, face painting, police car to be explored, lots of bouncy castles a bbq and a bar. Hubby is taking part in its a knockout (should be a laugh!) just hope that the rain holds off.
I hope that everyone elses weekend is great!

Yummy, its not often that i let my kids have sweets so when they do they think that its christmas! I do however let them have chocolate - its my weakness.

Been to slimming world today and have lost 1/2 a pound...not that great but a loss all the same!

Quiet day today as im working thursday, friday and saturday and my lovely mother-in-law arrives on sunday so the kids will be well excited! (she really is lovely!)

Off to put my feet up for half an hour! Catch ya later!

HS:MS - TRIANGLE - A 3 sided shape, touching at each end.

I was a bit stumped for 'triangle' but luckily took my camera out with me today, and got these shots from the Harvester (resturant) and looked just a little silly!

I am never ever taking the kids there again, they were truely horrible and im glad that they are in bed...phew!

Now that i've got that off of my chest im off to pour myself a big drink!

All ok in the house hold today, i keep tripping over toys, it seems that the kids want them all out and every time i disappear upstairs (for my sanity) i come back down to find that they have emptied the kitchen drawer and are playing with my garlic crusher and tin opener - not the said toys that are all over the floor (give me strength!).
Think i will walk them to the park and then hope for a quiet afternoon!

Again a quiet day (other than tantrums and tears) i have cleaned the house from top to bottom so that should last oh about an hour...lol.

Next door had a party last night which i was invited to but did'nt fancy it, so i have not had much sleep as they were really noisy, so i am planning an early night.

Need to buy a new book - anybody know of a good one? - In the mood for humour i think.

I had a play on my Wii last night and made some Mii's which was so cool, tried to play one game - well i fell of the bloody sofa i got that carried away, just hope the neighbours did'nt see, i may improve with time!

2 dry nights so far with 'A' im well chuffed and so is she!

Better think about making some food as i have no idea what the kids are having! Enjoy your day x.

These were taken at Knebworth whilst seeing Noddy last week. Notice how both of the children have daddys squint! I have so many photos of them all doing the one eye thing...lol.

Having a quiet day here, no plans for the next few days.

'A' is now toilet trained - yippee, and went to bed last night with out a nappy and bless her there were no accidents.

My Wii has arrived so will be setting it up later and having a play - child that i am!

This is the fire guard from the toddlers lunch in the church hall, that i go to once a month with the children.

Di's visit! We had a lovely time over coffee, it was so good to meet Di we chatted away (over the top of the kids - they were not that good!) and we are hoping to meet up again in september for some retail therapy - with out the kids!

Ok so its been a while since i posted, i have been working my socks off and having day trips with hubby and the kids. Last friday we visited Noddy and friends at Knebworth - i was more excited than the kids! After the shock of how big Noddy and friends were the kids did enjoy themselves and were very good, here are some shots!

Trust me it was a squeeze in that car!

Noddy! We had a fab day and enjoyed a lovely meal out after, would recommend this day to anyone with small children - make sure you take spending money for the rides!

HS:MS - SPS

As it was my hubbys pass off yesterday i thought that i would show these pics today. Above is the band who as usual were fantastic - they were at Buckingham Palace on thursday so they get about!

Here are some of the recruits , with eyes right!

And here they are marching at the end of the parade, very pleased as they managed to march in time with all the right moves!

It was a very hot day and thirsty work!

Both of the children loved the band and the marching, and joined in by dancing and copying the marching. They were very well behaved and made me very proud!

As for me a few too many drinks........and a night out, so a quiet day today.........ssshh!

HS:MS - INSECT, A SMALL ARTHROPOD ANIMAL WITH 6 LEGS AND USUALLY ONE OR TWO PAIRS OF WINGS.

This lovely butterfly was in my friends garden this morning, i got the first shot as it was closing its wings and the second when it flew higher and i had to zoom in - but i caught it with wings open.

I have had a good morning, once again been to a friends house, and she has not long had a baby 'M' who is so cute and i love the cuddles (not broody at all!) she also has a little boy 'J' who my lil'H' loves. We were in her garden for two hours and it felt like 10 minutes where does time go?

We have a big day tomorrow as its hubbys pass out parade (he is training recruits, and they finish their training tomorrow) so i will be taking the kids to watch the parade and the band, then we will all be going for drinks with the recruits and their families, and then off to the officers mess for a good old knees up! (not me though as im watching the calories).

I will go armed with my camera and look like a tourist and hope that none of the lads take the micky out of me, then post the pics over the weekend.

ONLY 6 DAYS TIL I GET A WII....................Watch out 'Z' and 'L' ill whoop your butts next time!

HS:MS - SUCCULENT, TENDER, JUICY OR TASTY!

I have had a good day today, i went to slimming world and i lost 1.5lbs which i am pleased with considering! And then i went over to my friends house for a catch up and lunch!

'A' has used the potty today so thats a great result (i know shes 3, but we will get there!) and 'H' is trying to copy - so may as well do them at the same time!

It has been a hectic day, and only now can i go and put my feet up for a hour or so...lol before bed, then it all starts again.....hey ho! Bye for now x.

A complete cheat, i would love to be able to say that i took this fab picture, however i did'nt!

I have been a bit busy over the last few days with work and the kids, nothing exciting unfortunatly - although i have walked 4 miles today, to and from playgroup and im off to the gym tonight - feeling energetic! (wont last long!)

I am getting weighed tomorrow at my slimming world group and have had a few too many snacks this week (hence the exercise!) but hope that i have shed a couple of pounds neither the less.

Lots of jobs waiting so must dash, thanks for visiting me!

HS:MS - TOWEL,- AN ABSORBENT CLOTH OR PAPER FOR WIPING AND DRYING SOMETHING WET, AS ONE FOR THE HANDS, FACE, OR BODY AFTER WASHING OR BATHING.

Very exciting....not! But these tea towels were a present from my mother-in-law from her travels, she gets them for us from all over the world and these are the latest ones.

A lovely quiet morning as both the kids are at nursery this morning. I have been to a lovely little shop this morning to try on dresses for my uncles wedding, i must have tried on 20 dresses and found two that i like. Do i go for the one priced at £185.00 or the one priced at £235.00? Mmmmmmm ...not asking the husband which one he thinks......lol. Its alright for everyone else both my kids are pageboy and bridesmaid, and hubby is in the same (hired) suit as my uncle so its only me to sort out! (No expense spared then!!!!)

I have 10 mins left before i collect the kiddies, washing up i think.........bye for now x

HS:MS - PEEP,- TO TAKE A LITTLE LOOK OR SHOW A LITTLE BIT.

I took these yesterday in the garden, 'A' is waiting for the bubbles to appear and taking a little peep!

All ok here, hubby got back today so the kiddies were very pleased to see him, as was i ! My house will now become like a disaster zone with piles of washing and dirty boots everywhere (the joys of being married to the Army) but hey ho only 6 years left (and counting!)..............lol.

Im off to put my feet up with my new book - The secret life of a slummy mummy! So, have a good day all.
