HS:MS - SPS

As it was my hubbys pass off yesterday i thought that i would show these pics today. Above is the band who as usual were fantastic - they were at Buckingham Palace on thursday so they get about!

Here are some of the recruits , with eyes right!

And here they are marching at the end of the parade, very pleased as they managed to march in time with all the right moves!

It was a very hot day and thirsty work!

Both of the children loved the band and the marching, and joined in by dancing and copying the marching. They were very well behaved and made me very proud!

As for me a few too many drinks........and a night out, so a quiet day today.........ssshh!

HS:MS - INSECT, A SMALL ARTHROPOD ANIMAL WITH 6 LEGS AND USUALLY ONE OR TWO PAIRS OF WINGS.

This lovely butterfly was in my friends garden this morning, i got the first shot as it was closing its wings and the second when it flew higher and i had to zoom in - but i caught it with wings open.

I have had a good morning, once again been to a friends house, and she has not long had a baby 'M' who is so cute and i love the cuddles (not broody at all!) she also has a little boy 'J' who my lil'H' loves. We were in her garden for two hours and it felt like 10 minutes where does time go?

We have a big day tomorrow as its hubbys pass out parade (he is training recruits, and they finish their training tomorrow) so i will be taking the kids to watch the parade and the band, then we will all be going for drinks with the recruits and their families, and then off to the officers mess for a good old knees up! (not me though as im watching the calories).

I will go armed with my camera and look like a tourist and hope that none of the lads take the micky out of me, then post the pics over the weekend.

ONLY 6 DAYS TIL I GET A WII....................Watch out 'Z' and 'L' ill whoop your butts next time!

HS:MS - SUCCULENT, TENDER, JUICY OR TASTY!

I have had a good day today, i went to slimming world and i lost 1.5lbs which i am pleased with considering! And then i went over to my friends house for a catch up and lunch!

'A' has used the potty today so thats a great result (i know shes 3, but we will get there!) and 'H' is trying to copy - so may as well do them at the same time!

It has been a hectic day, and only now can i go and put my feet up for a hour or so...lol before bed, then it all starts again.....hey ho! Bye for now x.

HS:MS - SOAKED, TO GET EXTREMLY WET.

A complete cheat, i would love to be able to say that i took this fab picture, however i did'nt!

I have been a bit busy over the last few days with work and the kids, nothing exciting unfortunatly - although i have walked 4 miles today, to and from playgroup and im off to the gym tonight - feeling energetic! (wont last long!)

I am getting weighed tomorrow at my slimming world group and have had a few too many snacks this week (hence the exercise!) but hope that i have shed a couple of pounds neither the less.

Lots of jobs waiting so must dash, thanks for visiting me!

HS:MS - TOWEL,- AN ABSORBENT CLOTH OR PAPER FOR WIPING AND DRYING SOMETHING WET, AS ONE FOR THE HANDS, FACE, OR BODY AFTER WASHING OR BATHING.

Very exciting....not! But these tea towels were a present from my mother-in-law from her travels, she gets them for us from all over the world and these are the latest ones.

A lovely quiet morning as both the kids are at nursery this morning. I have been to a lovely little shop this morning to try on dresses for my uncles wedding, i must have tried on 20 dresses and found two that i like. Do i go for the one priced at £185.00 or the one priced at £235.00? Mmmmmmm ...not asking the husband which one he thinks......lol. Its alright for everyone else both my kids are pageboy and bridesmaid, and hubby is in the same (hired) suit as my uncle so its only me to sort out! (No expense spared then!!!!)

I have 10 mins left before i collect the kiddies, washing up i think.........bye for now x

HS:MS - PEEP,- TO TAKE A LITTLE LOOK OR SHOW A LITTLE BIT.

I took these yesterday in the garden, 'A' is waiting for the bubbles to appear and taking a little peep!

All ok here, hubby got back today so the kiddies were very pleased to see him, as was i ! My house will now become like a disaster zone with piles of washing and dirty boots everywhere (the joys of being married to the Army) but hey ho only 6 years left (and counting!)..............lol.

Im off to put my feet up with my new book - The secret life of a slummy mummy! So, have a good day all.

We all had a lovely time, and i cooked a new recipe - Gordon Ramseys prawn pilau which was lovely!

The flowers are from my friends garden (im useless and kill everything!) and the raspberries i bought this morning from our local fruit and veg stall in town.

Boring picure i know! This is the childrens picnic bench in our garden - did a close up as i did'nt want anyone to see how long the grass is!
I picked up 'A' from nursery today and she had grown some carrots which she was allowed to bring home so here is a picture of them - in a ROW.

She is so proud of them - but trying to get her to eat them - no chance!
I have to hide all her veg in sauces and she does'nt eat potatoes or meat (other than minced beef and sausages). It is a daily challenge to feed her. ANY TIPS WELCOME as im starting to pull my hair out and fed up of pasta pasta pasta! Luckily she loves fruit so thats some thing. Well these two horrors are my greatest love! Dressed in their finest for the bbq we went to on friday.

Husband has gone away today for a week, so i have cleaned the house from top to bottom, done all of the washing and the greatest thing of all is that i know it will stay that way til he comes back!! It has been a very quiet weekend - for a change, and i feel recharged for the week ahead.

Off to get 'H' up from his sleep and play with the kiddies before tea time.

I have had a lovely morning, both kiddies have been at nursery and i went shopping on my own!
Dont get too excited it was for food bits 'n' bobs, though i did buy the book that Sue recommended and cant wait to get stuck in to it. It will have to wait for a while though as we are off to a bbq in an hour! Must dash - clothes to iron, kids to dress!

HS:MS - ARTIST - FIFTH DIMENSION, TITLE - AQUARIUS/LET THE SUNSHINE IN FROM THE MUSICAL HAIR!

I thought that i would do two takes on this one, the first being sunshine and the second being hair - as modeled by Ellie age 4, my friends little girl. (first one is a cheat...lol)

Had a better morning so far, children better behaved today i just hopes that it will last the rest of the day!

Had a good catch up with a friend which is always nice, and now off to use up some of my many eggs (from beat) in a quiche.

I thought that i would do my daughters hands today, as she is sat at the table doing some crafts (cutting up newspaper with various shapped scissors!) Not the best picture i know!

I think that its a great idea to carry on whilst the girls are off!

Have had a hectic morning so far. I have gone back to slimming world to try and lose my last half stone, and whilst there the kids were demons no matter what snacks i produced from my bag! I have managed not to murder them yet! Then went to tesco on a nappy run, then went to our local mums and tots lunch, and got back to loads of housework (again!!) still have to unload the car and the washing machine...such joy!

This is my sons hand, on top of his daddys hand wearing both of our wedding rings, only got one shot of this before he ran off thinking he had some new toys! Had to replace the rings for a packet of hula hoops!
Have had a noisy morning at playgroup with my boy, Amelia has just come home from nursery, so its all go! But Amelia starts pre-school in september, and have managed to get Henry in for 3 mornings a week - yippee...roll on september!

This fab picture of 'A' was taken a week ago, she would never go near a horse before, but after watching the pony rides for a bit she could'nt wait to get on and have a go - thats my girl!
No major plans for today, apart from watching the Williams sisters in action, and trying to keep the kiddies entertained inside due to the rain!

At last i have worked out how to set the time on my blog! - So to those of you who think that i am awake all night or up very early...you can really see how lazy i am!!
Good day has been had here, the kiddies were so pleased to see their daddy (as was i! gives me a rest...lol) and now they are off to bed and im relaxing!

Peace has now been restored, im kicking back with a glass of wine after another hectic day of motherhood!
Husband is home tomorrow after a week away with work (Army) so i will have loads of washing...great! Just hope the weather is good!...............Sofa here i come x
